So, a couple of weeks ago I had to say goodbye to my studio. They decided to create a 10PM curfew on the building. 10PM is typically when I would arrive and begin my work, so I knew that I would not be able to stay. It was a little weird to take all my paintings away. The worst was tearing my paper mural off the wall.
Although it was sad to leave, I am so happy for all the experiences that the Spurgeon has given to me. For all the friends I have met, for all the work that was created, for all the nights and music and random adventures.
I currently live in Long Beach, CA with my husband Paul. I spend a majority of my waking hours creating. I love the feel of paint. I love mixing colors, tearing up papers and layering them all to create depth. I love taking my camera out to see the world in a new perspective. My goal is to create, see and experience as much of this world as I can.
